With this typographic specimen book entitled "World's Great Typefaces," I was tasked with breaking down various typographic styles across different eras, including Old Style, Transitional, Modern, Geometric Sans, Slab Serif, and Humanist Sans. After introducing each style, I highlighted a typeface within the style that I found to be iconic or exemplary.
I went with a simple, clean color palette of yellow and black, adding only small splashes of the yellow throughout the book to create a sophisticated, cohesive look.

Each page highlighting a specific typographic style includes a brief history or introduction to the style's invention, as well as a bold graphic element made up of characters in that style.
The example typeface pages include all letters, numbers, symbols, and fonts within the chosen typeface, as well as short description of its creation and uses.
