This color theory project explored the effects of transparency and color gradation with complimentary ocean-themed illustrations. The left plays with transparency through the depiction of jellyfish, showing difference types of transparency as the water elements and sea creatures begin to blend and interact with one another.
The righthand side shows off the effect of color gradation in the form of manta rays, their colors ranging from blue to yellow-green as they swim in a kelp forest.
